Grandparents' Day

Sept 7, 2007 ---- Jackson and William performed at the Grandparent's Day program at their school. They knew every word and every motion of every song. (Somewhere over the Rainbow, I've Got Rythm, If You Could Talk to the Animals, Do Re Mi, Chim Chim Cherie, Zippedee DooDah -- theme was Academy Award Winning Songs).. They can even sing the tune of all the songs, too. They did such a great job and Grandma'ma came all the way from Virginia to watch them. (JoJo & Big Daddy were in Charleston awaiting the birth of Walt and Lorraine's baby!)

Happy Birthday Grandma'ma!! She was here on Sept 7 (her birthday) so the boys were excited to get her a lemon pie and key lime pie for her b-day. It was a special weekend!

Happy Birthday Jake!

Here are some pics of Jake's party on August 11, 2007. William and Jackson did a great job of helping Jake eat his cake and open his presents. And Jake loved watching them! Soon after the party, it was nap time for our little one year old. He was wiped out!

First Day of School

Here are William and Jackson on their first day of Kindergarten (for the second time) on Thursday, Aug. 16, 2007. It has been a crazy week at the new Riddle home in Byromville. They have started school at Kings Chapel Elementary in Houston County. They looked so cute in their special shirts from Grandmama and Papa. It was also "picture day" at school. They did great in their new class. I can't believe our babies are in kindergarten! These years are going by way too fast.

Jake - 1 year old

What Jake is doing at 12 months:
--claps his hands & waves bye bye
--loves to ride his little car
--not walking yet, but cruising everywhere
--crawling very very fast
--loves to explore everything in the house
--dances to music
--says dadada, mamama, ma (more), uh (for uh-oh)
--tries to share food with you
--hands you his toys when you reach out and say thank you
--growls
--loves to ride the motorcycle
--points where he wants to go
--LOVES to play with balls & throw them

having fun!

Two of Jake's favorite things to do are ride the motorcycle with Daddy and play with his brothers!!

William, Jackson, and Jake (my first try)

I am starting this blog to remember precious moments with our 3 boys. Since Havalynn is doing such an awesome job with hers, I am going to try to write and post photos as often as I can. Although I don't believe that I can keep up with Aunt Havalynn, she has inspired me to try!! Thanks Havalynn!
